Meet the Harrisonburg Oral Surgery Team
Emily – Scheduling Coordinator:
Emily helps keep the office running smoothly. She is always willing to fill in where needed and is often the person who will help you understand any questions you may have about paperwork, and get you checked in. Emily also serves as our public relations coordinator and helps maintain healthy relationships with our referring doctors in making sure that they always have what they need to easily refer their patients to our office.
Emily – Front Office Coordinator:
Emily is the friendly voice you hear when you first call our office and the smiling face you meet when you come in for your appointment. She runs the front office seamlessly with grace and attention to detail. While you are in for your appointment, Emily will gather all of your insurance information and give you a copay estimate for any procedures that are recommended, before you even leave the office. She will also work for you in ensuring you get all the benefit that you deserve from your insurance company. Emily has a broad understanding of financing options that our office provides and she will make sure you are able to complete your desired treatment.
Rachel – Treatment Coordinator / Implant Coordinator:
Rachel is the leader of Dr. Klamut’s surgical team. She is responsible for preparing for surgeries and will be with you every step of the way during your dental treatment. Dr. Klamut and Rachel have been working together 8 years and Rachel has mastered working alongside Dr. Klamut in surgeries. She is always prepared and always thinking ahead. Rachel’s background as a Nationally Registered Paramedic allows her the ability to handle everything with her job specification. She is certified in Advance Cardiac Life Support, Pediatric Advance Life Support, Advance Medical Life Support, Basic Life Support, and is certified by the Dental Anesthesia Assistant National Certification Examination. Rachel is also a Critical Care Paramedic. She volunteers with her local rescue squad, providing care to the critically ill and injured. She is exactly what an elite surgical assistant should be and a huge asset to the team.
Pam – Business Manager:
Pam has worked in practice management for more than 20 years. She comes from a background in medical management and has been with Harrisonburg Oral Surgery for 11 years. She is responsible for all business relationships, overseeing office policies and procedures, financial management, and supervision of support staff. Pam has held membership in the American Association of Dental Office Managers as well as JAWS Society, a National Society of Oral and Maxillofacial Administrators. Pam’s involvement with Harrisonburg Oral Surgery has been absolutely instrumental in the continued success of the practice. Pam is a true leader of the Harrisonburg Oral Surgery team.
